ABOUT THE SHOW:

Theatre Jacksonville's 2019 Junior MainStage production will feature a talented group of young actors as they bring to life Homer's THE ODYSSEY.

In this one hour adaptation, a class of students are touring an Ancient Greece museum exhibit in preparation for their studies on The Odyssey. When two of the students lag behind on the tour to read an excerpt from the original recording of Odysseus’ journey, an adventure begins.

The students encounter the various obstacles, trials, and mythical creatures found in the ancient text and must complete the journey of Odysseus if they have any hope of setting things right.

Performances will be held on March 4 and 5 @ 6:30pm.
